It's been a while since I've updated LJ. Well, LJ will now be a site where I would document memorable events in my life. Today is one of them. The Superstars of Facebook met up once again, the last one was in August last year.  I got to meet up with my Dan ge and his hunkabaloo KL..... and  Edric (merman13) and Harry Tan too.




Dan & KL had to leave early for another engagement, so Edric took Harry and Me to 15 Minutes Cafe for dessert and a bit of camera whoring.... Oh! Did I mention, Ed got himself a new camera... YAY!

I got the chance to play around with the Nikon D90. Right now I am still contemplating between the Canon or the Nikon DSLR.... and so far, Canon is winning by 5 points ahead of Nikon.


We camwhored some more around the LASALLE college.


While waiting for Edric to finish playing around with his new toy Rebel, I decided to read a story to Harry......


At around 5pm, we met up with our Taiwanese counterpart. Unfortunately, Harry had to leave for another engagement and I had to return home to be with the folks before they leave for Beijing.

I decided to ground myself in Singapore for the First Saturday after a working week to be in Singapore. I shelved my trip up to JB till the afternoon and decided to have breakfast with Ed at the Newly Refurbished Food Centre near his place.  Fortunately, I woke up early and saw Harry's message and jio-ed him over for breakfast and he agreed. YAY!

I had a great time today. Spent the day having breakfast and lunch with Edric and Clara and finally was introduced and met up with Dave Kong (dave_sg_888 ) and Addy Tan (niterage05 ).

When I got up today, I realised that I had not opened gentlegiantt 's Christmas gift which I had placed beside my bed and like a child on Christmas morning, that was the firt thing I did when I got up.

Woke up early today to have breakfast with gentlegiantt at West Coast McDonalds before sending her off to work. Had Sausage McMuffin with Egg set and sponge on the free Wireless@SG internet through my ipod touch.

gentlegiantt so sweet! She gave me a nice T-Shirt which I will take photo and post here another day. Thanks also for helping me with the selection of wine for the Christmas Housewarming tomorrow.

After dropping off gentlegiantt at work, I headed home to drop off Streamy and transform myself to become a common public transport commuter. I headed down to Bugis Cali for Bodylicious class at 1140hrs with Aries. Disappointing - I almost died in the class and I don't feel my abs working hard enough though the build up of lactic acid on my legs were excruciating and well, made up for it, I didn't think that he did any bodylicious at all. Oh! There were only 6 of us in the class and I got the whole gym mirror to whore with.

After class, I headed straight to Orchard Cineleisure to wait for gentlegiantt to arrive for our 1430hrs AVATAR on 3D. While waiting, I contemplated but then dunno how ended up having my 2nd McDonalds Meal of Fillet-O-Fish @ the newly revamped Heeren.
 
We expected a full house for the show to start and looking at some of the patrons camwhoring with their 3D glasses, we decided to do one ourselves too!

It was time for me to clear my last bit of stuff and bid farewell to my workplace / workstation of 7 years.


The last few bits of stuff.


As I returned all that I have withdrawn back to its original place, I walked down some familiar places for one last look.

Finally, my last few moments at my desk before saying "Goodbye". Fortunately, no one was around and it made the departure much easier for me.




My next working place would be somewhere I have been before just before I came to this current place of 7 years.

Thank you for the memories. Thank you for the friendship and meaningful hardship. The thing I will miss most about this place would be the bond that I had built. Like what a friend said, one has to move on to grow. So I shall take this as part and parcel of growing up in the profession.
